Do stepparents have to pay child support?

In almost all cases, stepparents will not be responsible for paying child support. The only time it will happen is if a stepparent interferes with a natural parent paying child support, if the stepparents seeks visitation rights, or if a stepparent voluntarily agrees to pay support in the divorce agreement.
